No account is required. Your shopping data stays on your device unless you choose optional list sharing, and shared lists use generated anonymous IDs.
Reminder privacy
Optional Pro+ store reminders use geofencing locally on your device. Your saved store visits and live location are not uploaded for the reminder.

Is ShopMate free?
Yes. ShopMate is free to build and share shopping lists. A one-time Pro unlock adds power-user features, and an optional Pro+ tier adds geofenced store reminders. There is no subscription.
How does sharing a shopping list with family work?
You share a list over a private anonymous link. No accounts and no personal profile info are required. Everyone you share with sees changes in real time, so the whole household shops from the same list.
Does ShopMate work offline and without an account?
No account is required. Your local lists stay on your device. Optional services like shared-list sync, purchase checks and store reminders use the network or location only when you turn them on.
Can ShopMate remind me when I am at the store?
Yes, with Pro+. Save your regular store locations and ShopMate can send a local reminder when you arrive with unbought items still on a list. Location is used on your device for the reminder and is not uploaded.
Is ShopMate on Google Play or the App Store?
ShopMate is available on Google Play now, with the App Store coming soon. The iOS launch is held up in Apple's company developer-account processing, which is on Apple's side.
